sorry to re open but I totally agree with zanash "chubby" is not an insult.

he could have said 'fat kid' which would have been rude yes.

if he has said the kid with brown hair for instance someone would of only said that anyway. (it is the most noticable thing, ie your hair being big and blonde *not a bad thing btw*)

is it an insult to say "the tall thin lady" if she is?
so how can it be an insult to call a kid chubby? (if he is a bit overweight) I would rather be called chubby than obese or fat.

I think if you comment on that, then you should confirm or deny whether or not you said to take more than one entry.

I'm closing and locking this thread.

It had no major hifi topic, and some points could be considered libelous.

I think it's run it's course, and shouldn't be missed..

    Zanash,

Either (a) you were being dense and managed not to read the “small print†three times (the “small print†being anything but according to the organisers) or (b) you were knowingly trying to gain unfair advantage by making multiple entries or (c) those handing out the forms were giving out misleading advice (again denied by the organisers).

It doesn't matter which, and probably you are the only person that really knows.

I think AudioA might think twice before involving themselves in a competition of this sort again in the future judging by some of the comments on this thread.

Irrespective of whether you think the words are worthy of upset, an apology by PM would be in order.
