Is it possible to add a paypal account using someone elses card to bid on something through my ebay account?

To clarify, my dad want's to get something off ebay. I was going to bid for him, but I'm skint till next week. So is it possible to set up pay pal with his credit card, and use that to bid with my ebay?

Or do I have to set up a new ebay acocunt for him?

    I think that makes sense.

If it is possible, how do I go about doing it?

    Thanks

    MO :)

    Me and my wife have 3 seperate e-bay accounts I have 2 ( 44 & 177 100% pos) and my wife has her own account (90+ 100% pos) .
I often use my paypal account to pay for her auction wins. If you already have a Paypal account then you can add another card to it. I think that the only stipulation is that the goods have to be sent to the card holders address. The Paypal website should have all of the relevant details, i think it may take a few days to set it up though as they make a couple of small security payment s into the account , just to make sure that you have access to the card statements...

actually it can take up to 6 days for those security monies to arrive in the account which his dad would need to establish and all that, could take too long.
