I've allways used Palm devices, currently happily using a tngsten T3 bluetooth, long battery life and perfect for what it is, I fiund the pocket pc ones too complicated, they are afterall meat to be diaryies not small computers, I have used palm since the 5VX, don't rally think one is better than the other, battery life and quick start up I would consider more iportant than anything else, if you need to enter an appointment then you don't want to wat on it booting up, Plams are best in this respect, Palms are also better at searching for addresses and such, the pocket PC machinnes might also have more compatibility with desktop software or games, but I think the gap is narrowing, whatever you buy then make sure you get a decent hard case for it if you want it to survive the rough and tumble of everyday life.

In my experiance you cant get moch better then an Ipaq its got the widest choice of upgrades software and extras, and a large online comunity to help if you need it.

saying this there are some cheaper ipaq's that arnt as worth it but like with most things the more you pay the better you get.
