yeah, I fell for that one with a second chance offer some time ago - I was bidding on some speakers just the other day (which I didn't win) and I also received a second chance offer for that - both times I sent the e-mails (tho with the first time the damage had been done) to 'spoof@ebay.co.uk' and they will validate it for you...
