Phono amp and Cart specs

    After recently modifying my Rotel Phono amp it now has (or should have ) the following specs for the cartridge inputs:

    Sensitivity MM 3.0 mV Overload: 110mV
    Sensitivity MC 0.27mV Overload: 10 mV

    If I where to replace my current cartridge i would probably try another MC cart. Am i right in thinking that i could choose any MC cart and use it on the MC input of my amp as long as the cartridge output is between 0.27 mV and 10 mV.

    Pretty much. 0.27 isn't actually that low for mc output though so make sure you do check.
