My music tastes are fairly limited, I'm generally perfectly happy listening to any old cd's I've got lying about regardless of what they contain... I grew up with my sister being a bit of a piano whizz and getting rather fed up of constantly hearing her playing it, yet I've now got a bit of a desire to listen to some piano.

I was hoping for some recommendations or links to free downloads for some piano focused music, best description would probably be piano based jazz, but I'm not quite sure on that one, so here are a couple of examples of things I quite like, particularly the Roses intro...

    The intro to Outkast's Roses: http://www.telkman.co.uk/uploads/Roses-Intro.mp3 (150KB)

The intro and outro to Climb Dance, an award winnning short film with Ari Vatanen taking the Peugeot 405 T16 up Pikes Peak:

Any recommendations are much appreciated - I can't get the Roses intro out of my head

The Monk record in bottleneck's link is fantastic. If you like it, you can then spend a lifetime exploring Monk's music, which is not a bad way to spend the rest of your days.

    Nope.

A great (double) album, but maybe not what you're expecting. A forum search braings a few threads...
