    Just purchased, and have to say I love it !

    It was a huge upgrade over my Sony DVD player.

    R - I am impressed both visually and the with the movies sound track.

    No, I do not have a PS3, and its opperation is as silent as any decent CD player.

    When you initally fire the 'ole girl up, there is a bit of farting around, but as soon as she is in operational mood, quiet as a lamb.
