I'll call them PJ's..... this should make 10m of speaker cable

cost....should be no more than about £30 for the copper version

get hold of 40m or so cotton tape 25mm wide, place one tape on top of another and sew the edges together. Then sew down the middle so that you make a sleeve max 5mm wide close to the first edge, repeat to make a second sleeve near the other edge.

select a solid core conductor ..say 3mm dia copper wire stripped of its insulation. Clean with brasso or duraglit and then polish. Spray a thin layer of polyeurathne all over ..this will protect the metal surface and act as the first layer of insulation. When you have four suitable lengths in this case 4 x 10m thread the copper into each sleeve. fitt appropriate terminations and connect up. Do use a meter to check continuity first ...just to be safe !
Theres about an afternoon of work if you have a partner with a sewing machine ... if not, they take a week - if like mine ..she's no good at sewing either !

Then sit back and enjoy .......

    I made mine with 5mm x 0.3mm silver ribbon......

Are these what we heard at Dev's bake-off?

Did you try the Matter energy space time continuum harmonisers yet?

The silk jackets and the silver ribbons are an evolution of this. But in principle yes ....

Any thoughts on them warts and all ?

Yes ....I'm doing a week with and a week without ....this week.

When i got them ijrussell was over and we both thought that they had a slight "magnetic" pull, and I thought they felt ...lets just say odd so as not to disturb sensibilities.

Dowsing them has proved interesting .....
