PL519 or PL509 valves

Dear inmates,

I am looking for TWO matched QUAD (i.e. 8 pcs) of PL519 (or PL509) valve, will consider any brand. Prefer something from England or Germany.

The Tube Shop, 01795 419455, Joanne, keeps them at about £80.00 a set of 4. They are Ei brand from Yugoslavia. It is unlikely that you will find anyone private that is likely to have 2 sets of 4 and even more unlikely that they will be UK or German made.

Try Watford Valves, that is where l got mine from when l had EAR 509 Monos.

 

Hi Tarzan, thanks for your suggestion. I am indeed aware of their offer. However, their offer is Tungsram valve, I am still keen on looking for some offer from the good old days of German or British make.
