Presently feeling a little left out, I thought I'd invite people who are gonna really hate my system round for a session. If you think that might be you, please let me know.

A Friday evening would be good. At least I can play the thing loud.

    Alex

System: Broken CDP; TT held together with string; Clueless NZ amps; Overpriced speakers; All held together with copper ribbons and cheapo cable and sitting on bits of wood.

Music: You choose, as long as its crap recordings that'll sound horrid.

I'm quite happy to slag it off without hearing it at all if you like.

Having said that, even though it's probably no good at all it'd be fun to have a closer peek at a Well Tempered, so I'd be up for it.

I'm just off the cheapest stop on the Monopoly board. So, even if you're perverse enough to like the music you can slag off the area.

Quite like the idea of spur of the moment stuff, so was even thinking of this Friday 15th, otherwise the 29th. Could also do Sat or Sun if I have a word with my neighbour and make sure he stays away.

I think I can get about 7-8 comfy.

    Alex,

I feel qualified to slag off anybody's kit so I can't see yours being any different. Even looking at your listing, you can tell it's all gone Pear shaped.

Would love to drop in :)

Alex, I can't slag off your kit this Friday, but I could find time on the 29th.

difficult to narrow down the make & model for each of these components, but even though I'm a long way from Old Kent Road, and am unlikely to pass Go, please take a slagging from me, gratis and rent/rant-free!

    I think I'd miss Sideshow's insults so let's go for the 29th . . .

I can offer Earl Grey and cucumber sandwiches from about 5.00, Champagne and canapés from about 7.00 and ten pints of lager and eight packs of crisps from about 10.00.

    Please bring your own drugs.

PS By comfy, I mean I can seat about 8 (unless WM's coming).

    Hi Alex,

if I came and heard your stuff, you could still find an excuse and say even though your system is really excellent, it sounds like nuts in a washing machine drum because your room is crap.

For the ultimate slagging-off experience, please cart your gear over to my place. I will set it up with all the inexpertise I can muster and will tell the world how much I didn't enjoy it. As an extra bonus, and completely free of charge, I will diss you, your taste in clothing and a heavily biased selection of your character traits I'll make up on the spur of the moment.

Given your appetite for self-punishment by proxy, I'm sure you'll take me up on my generous offer.

29th rang a division bell - it clashes with Mr Sukebe's event. Don't want 2 systems slagged simultaneously, so what about Sat 30th? Sat is a particularly good day since the crap mains makes the system sound even more pants than usual.

PS Merlin, at least I didn't fall for the mini-canary-wharfs-on-castors routine.

    30th is good for me.

Is it just the kit that's fair game, or can I also slag off your music taste/decor/hair/ancestors?

Alex it's a bit far away, could I join and slag you off by teleconference, even though the telephones limited bandwidth will make it sound better, I'm an expert on crap systems, I have one, and would not be put off by it's good looks on the phone. Mind you if it doesn't look nice and has very little lights, it must not be to bad, however if women like it and it has it's name in lights then it really is pants, I think?

Luckily, all my women will be at least 5 miles away, safe in their beds. I'll see if I can borrow iGary's webcam and set up a link. . . (with the system, not the beds).
