    They're worth more than 2k!

The trouble is it's a slow time of year for selling gear. I suspect you should hold on until later in the spring to land a more solid price. Try the hifi mags too as the ad are pretty cheap.

I might stick them on eBay with a reserve and see what happens.

What's your reserve going to be? If it's sub 2k I may buy them purely to store in the loft, to resell in the summer for a tidy profit :p

Sadly, I dont agree. These days if Hifi is going to sell, unless you are very lucky, it needs to be priced at or under 50% of new price. The summer is even slower than the winter, who is going to be interested in hifi when the weather is nice? People will be either outside or on holiday.

Most dealers would say that the busy 'season' for hifi is autumn/ winter.

Its a shame, but unfortunately hifi is in the doldrums, there's too much s/h stuff out there and not enough buyers.

I will sell for £2k but no less. If you want them then cool, if not I'll put them on eBay with a reserve of £2k.

Sorry Tenson messing up your thread, I was just responding to KUBs comments. I'm not interested in the speakers.

    Good luck with the sale.

Okay, I have decided not to sell them. They are just too good. I wanted money to fund my DIY adventures in speaker design but I think I will just wait until I can afford to do that without selling the AML1's. There must be a reason they have not sold ;)
