    Hi Tenson,

I've been distracted away from hifi for a while so not been around, with so much going on. I bought a victorian conversion to do up and rent out, then moved in with my girlfriend, loads happening.

Home hifi: I want something more relaxed, warmer, less hifi and more musical. I also want to go the DIY route and build some large enclosures. Maybe horns, TL or something interesting? Much research lies ahead. I'm also going to get a digital EQ, large amp (maybe crown K2) and some proper subs as a foundation to it all. I currently have three 12" long throw drivers for this purpose. I expect the cabinet will be huge :D As for the smaller components, maybe Dynaudio or even Focal?

Car Hifi: Been collecting a few competition sound quality hifi bits for my car too. First time in ten years! Most of the kit is from the mid 90's, which is when the fidelity was at it's peak. (The old school companies are now in china!). The system I'll be running is a fully active affair, using Audio Control, Phoenix Gold MS series amps and Dynaudio drivers. CD front end will either be McIntosh or Japanese spec Denon. I suspect it'll be fairly good for those long trips.

Still got my benchmark, Primare transport and a few other toys. Anyway looks like a busy year ahead!

Early days yet, but I started a thread here for replies etc...
