Dean, correct on all counts. Even Rod Stewart being born in London (he reckons he's Scottish though).

The single, also called In A Broken Dream, is available on any of those 70s compilation CDs only for sale at motorway service stations.

    Hi,

Here's a game for all the family.

List the top 20 album artists in the USA

All you have to do is put the following artists in order of most certified album sales from most to least. There are 30 artists in the list so ten are ringers.

List the top 20 from the 30.

The winner is the person who gets the most right.

Have a go everyone & no googling. It will be interesting to see the answers.

    Here's the list.

    Metallica,
    Barbra Streisand,
    Bob Dylan, Van Halen,
    Michael Jackson,
    Celine dion,
    Eric Clapton,
    Ac/Dc,

Here's a bit of personal trivia for what its worth: Brian Eno's Dad used to be my postman (circa 1970) - yes I was little then but he always stopped at our house in the country in his van and was generous with the boiled sweets (NOT Wurthers Originals I add) - I remember him talking about his son and on one occasion he told us his son had joined a band that obscurely called themselves Roxy Music. Them were the days.

    Hi Lee,

    Correct.

Alison has written songs for the pop group Hearsay (Pure & Simple) and for Girls Aloud. She started out as a member of an early UK female rap crew, the She Rockers. Her tag was Betty Boo. She left them for a solo career and had a few hits. Her first album was called 'Boomania'.

She was famous for being caught out mining at a gig, when she dropped her mic and the vocals carried on!

    Over to you Lee.

Son of a Canadian sportswriter and novelist, this artists song caused a band named after their assistant principal at school to reply with another song.

I'm after an artist, a band and two songs.
