Not sure about the white seat trim myself.... Although I quite like the Skoda Superb. However, running costs are similar to the LS400mkIV that I really want, so....

Looks really nice in the flesh IMO Isaac, although you have to get them treated against marking and what have you (I have). They've held up quite well so far, but it'll sure be interesting to see how they stand the test of time.

The Octy vRS has very similar trim, except IIRC, the white bits on that are where the black bits are on the Fabia and vice versa, if I'm wrong though, I'm sure Saab will be along soon to put me right...

It stopped production at roughly the same time as the dinosaurs died out. Having said that, great alrounder, and for an "estate" doesn't have handle well.

    There's more here.

Mike - I used to have a 325i cabrio of a similar vintage. Bloody nice car it was. Sometimes still not sure I don't prefer the E30 3-series and the 325i is a pretty rapid car. I'm guessing yours is a 325i as it has the cooling slots for the oil cooler in the front air dam which only the 325i had....anorak? moi? :D .

    I'll get my coat...

    Michael.

Well spotted on the air intakes, never knew that.
Have to say that the first thing I did was debadge it. Just far too many dodgy people near where I live to advertise the fact. On top of that, no one takes an old estate seriously, meaning I hardly ever end up in traffic light drag races.

    BTW, nice drop top.

    This isn't mine....

Mine is BRIGHT red and has a different number plate. I wish it was black, but it is definitely red.

Note the prominent 'M' badge on the door....

Mine is entirely debadged too. Not a single "M" logo on the exterior :) .

    Looks like a mk1 to me, which means it'll be either a 1.6 or a 2ltr, they never did a v6 Mk1.
