Potential security warning

I don't think it will affect this site as its quite low key, but it affects all forums in general. The site which help to moderate has recieved some complaints about other people logging in as them. Some have been sucessful and some have not.

In this case they are simply guessing passwords so please make sure your password is impossible to guess, make it a combination of numbers, and different case letters.

Also be wary about the sites you join, some times passwords are not always stored as a hash which means the site admin can see your password in the database, this can be then used on other sites.

So make sure you use a different password for different sites.

This has happened to about 3 people now in the last few days. The danger is that if they can login they have access to your PMs.

The other problem is that admin can report it to ISPs and have done so but the ISps do not give a toss.
