Power AMP Recomendationtions - Please

    Hello

    I'm thinking of getting a new power amp/pre amp. My speakers are Mirage M3si's. I have been using a Musical Fidelity A3 with my smaller old speakers AE 120's (which was ok) but when moving up in the hifi world, the sound is limited with the Musical Fidelity A3. I have looked at a AM 100 Atoll which I have seen drive the M1's very well.

    The sound from the Musical Fidelity A3 is also not as full and rich as I now like.

    Can any one help with any ideas of what to look at and how much it should cost. ( It would have to be a pre-owned item under £500 for the power amp)

    Also the Musical Fidelity A3 could be up for sale soon. :rolleyes:

    audio analogue puccini first edition is a good un.
    spose the usual suspects will turn up...cyrus and all that.
    try a samson servo 500, plenty of power on the cheap, or an alesis ra500. cheap for about £300 and studio quality.

    Naim. You could get at least a Nac62/Nap140 for that money. They sound fantastic for their money, much better than their new stuff for mine and plenty of other's money

    If you are not tube lover just krell
    fast, detail, bass slam, relax and natural, need good source and speaker for showing it's sound quality.
    Listen to it with SACD
    sumup your money for it's secondhand integrated 400xi
