pre-amp Power switching outlets

    Hi folks.
    I am running a rotel RC995 Pre amp and 2 RB971 (effectively as a class D amp each).
    My question is this:- My RC995 has 2 switched power outlets so when it is turned on it can power 2 other components. Is it advisable to run my power amps through these so when i turn on my pre amp they also come on. WOuld it degrade the sound etc if i do this.
    Grateful of any advice.

    If not my power amps, what can i power from the outlets. I have a cd player, TT and tuner.
