Ah, good, saw the mag with the CD on the front only just resisted buying it just for that. Sounds like I made a good decision for a change :) .

Why not? If a knitting magazine had an interesting enough looking CD free on the cover I'd consider buying it. Not that I look at knitting magazines to spot such an offer you understand...

My current HiFi mag loyalty is exclusively to HiFi News I'm afraid, I don't buy any of the others. I guess if I flicked through one in a shop and they had an interesting article I might, but I don't get chance to do that very often. One magazine a month tends to be more than I find time to read anyway actually.

I won't be renewing my subscription to the comic... Working inside the industry one learns to read between the lines.

Why not buy a mag for the cd the way I look at it you shouldn't turn your nose up at a cd for £3.95 and a free mag.

its full of "audiophile" crap, a shame, one decent track would have been nice. I love jazz, but not that rubbish. It was free i supose, but id rather the concentrated on just mag, more music reviews/news perhaps

First time i have bought hfc in about 2 years btw

I mostly listen to classical music. But going to get some of these Naim CDs.

I am no expert but thought the technical quality was great. Last year there was another Naim Hi-Fi Collection with HFC. And HFN had a CD with classical music from Naim. HFC had another audiophile CD by LINN few months back that covered a variety of musical tastes.

An inexpensive way for people to explore new horizons, me thinks.

I am far from a Naim cultist but anyone who bring out CDs for reproduction on hi-fi equipment must be congratulated.

The type of music on this CD is not what I normally listen to. But after listening to it couple of times, some of the tracks grows on you :)

Chris - not real but really expresses the way a lot of posters come across.

So none of you guys who don't like the cd want to off load it. Guess you secretly like it and just don't want to admit it ;)
