Would say also on the subject of inks, savings can be made on generic ink cartridges but i gather there have been horror stories of non standard carts being naff......jamming up nozzles.  IN my Dads case (can't remeber whta he uses ....HP i think) that means a new printer.

Also makers own inks are said to have better lasting qualiies.

From what hes told me I've always paid the extra for c*non cartridges.......

Do a lot of printing and it'll take the rip out of them ...      

as i say thats probably yesterdays technology..
