Prisoners to get broadband in their cells!

    Just saw this on Silicon.com: Prison net

    WTF!?!?! I thought PRISON was for, err, you know, PUNISHMENT. Why the hell should prisoners be allowed access to the net? This is ridiculous...

    What do you think?

    No, I think Dom's article is right - prisoners are due to get broadband access in their cells. Web access will be limited, however, to the chat pages of hifi forums ONLY, hence the punishment will continue....

    I think crims should be whipped, it stops them in places like malaysia and singapore, then put them in the electric chair and make them all watch...would we have crime then? hmmm methinks not.;)
