Pro-ject Xpression II

    Seems like there is nothing much available on the S/H market at reasonable prices so I have checkout the new ones anr the Pro-ject Xpression II cought my eye with its quality arm and alloy platter. Looks like it could do the job - what do you think?

    My pre amp has a phono stage - will this be adequate ar should I be looking for a separate phone stage. The Pre amp is a Tag McLaren PA10 .....

    hes very familiar with these decks.

    For me I'd look at the plastic platters as I feel these will give a better sound.
