problem with rotel cdp

    Hi Folks, a colleague has got a rotel ra01 amp with matching cdp - tho, can't recall the model number! anyway, he says that when he ejects the cd when it's playing, the door opens and sometimes the CD doesn't come out...I have to assume that this is a fault and not bad design..?

    he'll have to send it back of course..?

    Mr Cat,

    I would guess your friend has the rcd-02. I too have this particular model, and it has so far happily returned every CD that has been fed into it; a function it unfailingly executes with impressive speed and smoothness. Perhaps your friend's unit has become possessed in some way.
