I am selling my Promitheus Double Box reference TVC.

    It is Promitheus's top of range. Its current price is 760 $ + 90 $ for p&p + customs.

    http://www.promitheusaudio.com/dualboxtvc.htm

Lead time is around 2 months, don' t wait for it and get it right now.
Mine comes with Soundcare feet for better isolation.

It will be carefully packed and sent to your place in UK using a good carrier service.

This small device has received very good reviews on US and British forums and in papers (Stereophile, Affordable Audio etc...)

    Price is 360 £ including p&p.

The only TVc worth he effort is the dual box mono. However its no active. Seems to lack the body and soul. Accurate and detailed is ita character. Stay awat from the silver wire and silver RCAs as well.
The TVC requires a CDP with a healthy output of over 2V. The amp should have a low input sesnsitivity of less than [1] to sound its best.
I should know as I was involved with Promitheus for a while. As a matter of fact their latest double "C" core model was my idea. Stolen and now in production. Good product, though not nice people with me anyway.

Well, my English is too poor to explain the way it works, what it can or can't bring to a set.

There are a few threads regarding TVCs in Zerogain.

Make a search and have a look.

Not stupid at all. It is a transformer based passive preamp. No resistors in the attenuator. Just input to trannie and output from trannie to amp. Dgosie, glad you sold it. Good luck.
