    The HR LCDs are interesting. However, in order to drive them at the appropriate resolution requires an HR card, such as the $2500 Matrox Parhelia HR, or bizarrely, the $250 Matrox Parhelia PCI.

    The only problem with such high resolutions is that you have to reconfigure all your font/icon sizes etc so that you can see anything. A bit of a pain really.

    I wonder when M$ are going to change the native size/resolution of their fonts/icons to account for the ever increasing standard display size/resolutions.

    With the release of the next Windows OS, Longhorn, which allegedly uses you 3D accelerator to "render" the desktop.
