Has anyone any experience of these - the QLN Ones are excellent. Thanks

I had the QLN Sigs (not Splitfield), so not sure if my opinion is relevant. I found them very good in most ways, but a bit rolled off at the top end, so a bit laid back (too much so for me).

If you want more thoughts, let me know.

... I vaguely recall that the Splitfields are substantially different than the "standard" Sigs, so I don't think my experience is relevant.

ahh you remember seeing them Simon
I bought my pair from Absolute Sounds straight after the 1984
show, the sigs have off board xovers in a rather large metal
case, kinda OBX stylee and yes they could be described as laid back sounding
the drive units have had the brand/model removed from new and
Qln were not at all helpful when I tried to buy some spare units a few yrs back
I used them at the time with a Krell KSA50/ARCSP9.
quite rare now though .......don't think I will ever sell them
kinda attached them now 20 yrs latter.
