I have a pair of these for sale. 18 months old and unmarked. I would say they are at the warm cuddly end of the speaker spectrum, in total contrast to the replacement ATC-SCM19 speakers, which are so cool they have icicles hanging from them. In typical Quad fashion, there are no nasty surprises. Very smooth frequency response with no bumps or troughs. Very non-fatiguing to listen to. They benefit from using better quality links or bi-wiring. They suit Chord Carnival Silverscreen cables well, which is nice because it is not too expensive. No boxes I am afraid but original manual, original (nasty) links and white polishing gloves. I would prefer collection from near Lewes in Sussex but I might be able to locate a box that would fit them. Looking for £200 ono. RRP new was £500. PM or phone on 01273 400909.
