What, without a couple of cheapo kettle leads? What difference would that make? As they're (presumeably) local to you, go and check them out if you're tempted.

Unless I've misunderstood you in some way...

Just do it - the 33 / 303 use regular IEC input connectors IIRC. Its 'classic-Quad' reliable, so a safe punt and easily fixed if need be - sometimes the 303 PSU caps leak, but modern replacements just drop in. YOu should be able to turn a profit, anyway...

The special 'Jones' plugs were used on the 22 (valve) preamp; they're still available via the Emporium and others, if a bit pricey (c£10) - and dicey!

Edit: Much older 'Quad' information is available here:

No they don't, they use a 3 pin Bulgin plug.

But still get them, they'd go for more on eBay.

If you want this bloke will sort you out Flashback

33/303 are built like tanks. I really enjoyed mine. Great for classical and vocal

Agree entirely with His Lordship above. I bought my 33/303 new in 1980 and they're still going strong and have never required attention. And Flashback Sales is great for leads and David Laine is great to deal with. I have a whole battery of Flashback leads for my various Quads.
