    Hi all,

I list my current Quad hi-fi system, got the ESL 57's around 9 months ago and can't believe the expansive sound stage, stunning, midrange to die for. Also lurking here are, original Quad II's, Quad FM4 tuner, Quad 34 pre, Quad CDP-2, Rega Planar 3. Hoping to add both a Revox G36 valve reel to reel recorder and a Lenco L59 turntable in January. Enjoy...

10 out of 10 for vintage quality.

I think this should make it to the zerogain 'cool wall' ! - if we had one.

Looks great! Bet it sounds so totally awesome. It looks like you have some "carpet" or sound absorbing material behind the quads, could you give me some information about it. I use Quad 63s myself.

    Thanks...

    Hi guys,

Appreciate the comments chaps. It's a really good place to go out and listen to some retro hi-fi, and it rocks too. Those original 15 watt Quad II's are very dynamic with the ESL 57's, I've heard people say they give a blousey sound, no way. I listen to Jazz/Blues/Big Band music and it's awesome.

    I love it....

Good, aren't they? I won a pair on eBay Deutschland a couple of years ago and had Quad Musikwiedergabe refurbish them. I currently drive them with an old NAIT 2, but want to rig up my Quad 44/303 (currently driving LS3/5as) also to be able to do them.

    WOW!!!

That's a very nice system you have, I'm very jealous.

Having those Quads in a small room, how do they sound. I think Quads need lots of room to breath.

Also, are those blue things at the back supposed to absorb the sound reflection

    Once again, NICE SYSTEM:)
