Quadraspire Columns

    Anyone with any black 19mm diameter columns gathering dust. I'm looking for 140mm and 180mm length (obviously 4 of each!).

    Just out of interest, I've 2 black sets of 100mm lengths available.

    Am considering making an equipment support. I think I've found my shelves but am struggling for shelf supports. Can you buy sets of columns on their own??

    If so, how do they fix to the shelves and how much are they ??

    They don't fix to the shelves. They screw into each other. The shelves have holes for the threads to pass through. To make a stand, you therefore need the matching spiked feet (or castors) and the top caps.

    The very large B&Qs have some legs that might be suitable. They come in 4, 8 and 12 inch (and longer) and are painted black or silver. The finish isn't that great but they are cheap and could always be repainted. You can find them at http://www.diy.com/

    Slight update folks, its just a set of 180mm long 19mm diameter spacers I'm looking for. Anyone out there?
