Quadrul Aurum

Anyone heard/heard of these before? New to me.

The Flagship Titan speaker in the Aurum Range looks a bit of a beast!

Quadral is quite a popular make in Germany, MO!, and they do quite a range of loudspeakers. Here's a test report:

Unfortunately, it's auf Deutsch , but the final line says it all:

Traumhaft gut klingender Lautsprecher mit perfekter Basswiedergabe

(Fantastically good-sounding loudspeaker with perfect bass reproduction)

Bit of hyperbole there, one suspects, but clearly the reviewer liked what s/he heard. There is, of course, the small problem (for most of us anyway) of EUR3500 - per speaker. (Not to mention the physical size - 137 x 36 x 42cm.)

 

They have them advertised HERE with the Vulkan as the top of the range in the series. They also seem to offer them on MOre colour options than the Quadral site offers them in! I'll have mine in blue please
