Question - why can't you amend the thread title?

    It would be handy if you could amend the thread tile when something sells to save anyone interested clicking a thread which is no use to them. E.g.

    Sony CD player **NOW SOLD**

    Unless I've missed it this isn't possible. You can edit the text of the advert but not the title.


    Any thoughts forum gurus?

    I can't remember exactly what you can and can't do. AFAIK a user can ammend the thread title if there haven't been any replies yet but after that, it's not possible. It's a "feature" of the forum software. This may be one of the things that's change in version 3.0.1 of the forum software. It would be really useful for the buy & sell section I agree.

    Administrators can always change the thread title though :)
