Save yourself a fortune and spend £250 on a Cambridge 640C/V2.
Can boogie up there with best and the price is insane for the build and sound. I have one in front of Naim 72/ALWSR/NAP135s and Impulse H2s and it works superbly.

Just go into Richer Sounds today and do it - :)

    Hi Dev,

Nothing wrong with the sound but I just couldn't get used to the ergonomics. I prefer having a disc, be it CD or vinyl - I prefer discs to files.

It went to a good home with minimal finacial loss.

I did, and thanks for having us. The H2s were only out of the system for 3 weeks but hearing yours had me humping them back in. They are very hard to give up. However, the little Regas have their points and have made me aware of some colourations in the H2s that previously passed me by.

Oh heck, yes they're coloured... but it's on the 'everything else' score that they still do so well.

(As Rob knows I ummmmed and aaahed over a straight fight between minty serviced ESL57s and the H2s for quite some time. I still have the H2s...)

s/s Copland CDA823. Anyone else got one of these?

Yes. Had it for over a yr now. No plans to change.
A fine CDP. I tried quite a few at the time. I had an MF A3 before - now part of my garage hifi :)
I listened to Shanling, MF-A5 & Marantz at similar money. It all started when I heard a Copland CDA288 a few years back...
