I allready have a reasonable DAC, the superdac that was modified by Wadia Meister all these years ago on this forum.... Made a big difference to the 506, much more dynamic and less fluffy sounding. I reckon the 506 transport is pretty good? I also have a turntable that gets very occasional use, so phono stage is handy. The benchmark doesnt have many inputs either. Think it needs to be secondhand that I look at....
