    Hi Humax

Personally I'd go for any decent quality cable.

I've used speaker cables costing no more than £5-£10 per metre with setups up to £10k.

Some people swear by expensive stuff, but my experience has taught me that it's a waste of my own money so I don't spend money here.

To be as impartial as I can, perhaps a good hifi shop can lend you a few runs of different stuff to try at home.

I use good quality mains cable (the orange stuff for outdoor use from home centers comes highly recommended). HTH.

try 15-20amp twin and earth....its a pig to work but sound rather nice ....if you like it you can then spend more dosh on the hifi versions ....

check out tnt audio for the diy recipes there are some good ones.

I think Chord is very hard to beat.

I have used it for years never had any problems with it.

Anti's - to me sounded like DNM Reson - clean, tight bass - but I thought just lacking a little something. I've heard fair differences between speaker cables but never had a 'night and day / better than new speakers' moment. The best cable i heard was WM / Coherent Connioseur (?spelling?) cable, I can't afford the 4m pair I currently need though!
I'd suggest that you try Kimber 4PR (cut and stripped, don't bother with termination) from - Gasp, ducks to avoid incoming - Russ Andrews. I've always liked the Kimber house sound and the 4PR is a great entry level cable. As RA has a 60 day return guarantee you can't really lose - you could order some 4TC to listen to as its a great all rounder, but perhaps a tad expensive.
