    The Editors:
Great album, rock with solid song writing, quiet heavy guitar but not overpowering.

Kubb: A rather understated album. First 4 tracks are average then it get's really good. Softer rock.

i second editors - joy division meets echo and the bunnymen, excellent album (and £7 in sainsbury's of all places)

kubb are fantastic live, sadly an energy missing slightly from the album, but good nonetheless. i dont completely agree with the comparisons with jeff buckley; tho' his voice is powerful, harry, the lead singer, doesn't have the range of buckley (reference grace album)

Jim Noir Tower of Love, the best album to come out of Manchester for many a moon, simply awesome the guy is going to be massive. The Beach Boys meets the Beta Band, only better
