Rega Planet...CDR's??

    have a chance to pick up a rega planet at a nice price but can't find any information as to whether it will play cdr's or not.

    I used the planet 2000 and had no problems playing Cd r

    The original Rega Planet (well, excluding the Planet turntable)
    will play CD-Rs. It will *not* play CD-RWs.

    Whatever the player, my experience is that CDR (and CDRW) is not a robust medium over time.

    I'd advise ripping them to hard discs (more than one) so that - at worst - you can recreate when they go off.

    yeah, i have a couple of terabyte's doing just that :)

    now, the same place that has the rega also has a musical fidelity cd2, same question, cdr's???
