Reimyo CDP 777 SH or AMR CD-77

    I know Thorsten and I agree he is a great engineer and designer and a lovely guy as well. But when I had a shoot out the AMR it didn't come out on top, and we really wanted it to win. I have to admit its beautifully made which reminded me of the the very expensive CEC transports.

    It appears you have some serious kits about. Good luck selling Nolas. One of the ultimate speakers out there. My favorite in his line was the Circe.
    The Grand Veena is no slouch either. For demo price it should move rather quickly.
    Back to the DAC recco I'm still a Lector man. Check out the Lector as well.

    I would take the Reimyo 777 CDP over the AMR any day of the week. The problem with Reimyo is, as someone pointed out, the transport mechanism. When it fails ... well, you may have a nice, 3500 GBP paper weight.

    In any case, I would try to secure a spare mechanism first.
