    Portugal = hopes and dreams
    Czechs = ways and means

    If your guys beat the CR I will truly accept Portugal as kings of europe (not wanting to hark back to the armada's or anything though). :)

    Interesting. Well the 182 (with Cup chassis tweak/suspension) is definitely that bit more than the 172 Cup. It has a wider and longer wheelbase, extra chassis tweaks with custom design Michelans and redeveloped exhaust system (which is pretty much solely responsible for the 10 bhp hike) and the build seems better too. Not the fastest, but handles corners like a roller skate.

    the Racing Cup is different again though,a radically different car.The one i saw wasnt road legal,or i dont think it was.I think it was imported.But it would have left a standard hatch for dead,it went past me like i was going backwards

    Couldn't beat Engerland though :D

    Still well done! The Portugal playing tonight had the look of champions and did their country proud.

    All I can say is I'm glad I'm not Dutch...

    BTW am not getting into a footy argument I know as much about football as Antonio does about cars and speakers, about as much as Merlin knows tact(not the eq), and about as much as Dat and Bub know about arguing:)

    You would be surprised with how much I know about cars and speakers, after all I have a lot more experience than you and so many others in this forum, for instance I did ran a few rallies in my time, and I had speakers and even equalizers long before you and the TUG even walked... :JPS:

    Yes, I am 55, and that is not an handycap...

    Well 55 congrats sir no wonder you have such patience with the wizardy one, I myself have passed the angry young man stage, but not yet hit 40 (37), I think you are a nice genuine bloke to, but the cars of your youth had drum brakes, xply tyres and lotsa bakelite, no wonder you don't like Audis.:)

    was being facitious I knew what kinda rallies you meant, oh and I knew you were right wing and were at the rallies, but on the end of the wattercannon with the snatch squad:)

    They had drum brakes indeed, but there where a lot less cars on the roads, and so many turns you had no time to gain speed, and to brake either... ;)

    Ah of course the RenaultSport Clio Cup "class" rather than the Clio 172 "Cup" version. Well yes they have a number of trick mods and are of course stripped to the bare weight. Even then though they only produce 190 bhp (the 182 produces 179 bhp). The standard 182 might surprise you, but it is a league below I grant you.

    Being complete sarcasm free for just one moment - I quite agree - Portugal deserve to be in the final and I wouldnt be surprised if they win. It was quite obvious tonight that the whole team were absolutely determined to go through and the crowd were excellent. I would be pleased to see them win the cup. :)

    POST # 600. ITS A GREAT FEELING! ;)
