"Can you feel the love in the room" - Darius Danesh

Ps I know both his parents (they are both Dr's) and they are an extremely nice well balanced down to earth couple, with good homely values, so how comes Darius was such a pretentios wan**r ?(IMHO)

I blame the parents. Don't quote me on that.

What's all this 'chav' chit-chat? M3 ubiquitous? Not where I live!

Yeah but you live in Volvo Merc land, could just see the neighbourhood watch brigade just before you moved in, Oh theres a very nice Doctor coming to live here, then along comes Bub, Caravan sized speakers, and a lorry load of "greyish/balck" scaffolding with MDF/Marine ply vinyl sandwich(delete as aopplicable) Lorry load of records, and driving of all things a brash loud BMW, oh the shock musta killed half of them.:)

Yes, I have rather lowered the tone. Never mind eh? Once a pikey, always a pikey.

I wouldnt consider chav to be moneyed. I see it as a quality which can span class and wealth. Depending upon where you live the chav may be more or less of a problem. To understand more visit www.chavscum.co.uk. The anti-chav movement is called to arms.

As I said chavsim spans class, wealth and intellect. I never thought of it before but maybe (just maybe) ATCs and Mana are the chavist choices of hifi? ;)

Ah, but I have no sportwear, nor gold. I am a pikey, not a chav. The M3 doesn't appear in their car section, so it must be OK after all.

No chav is self-reflecting enough to see life from outside the goldfish bowl. Same probably applies to me though. :)

Tact is the art of lying to people to make them feel better about their choices in life.

I believe in being honest - it's kinder in the long term ;)

No true Pikey would be seen in an M3 round these parts James.

I believe the immobiliser is a little sophisticated.

I quite like the idea of being a Tug.

    Hi greg,

I'm still interested to know (in a non-confrontational manner) what conclusion you reached about my liking for black cars. It seems a strange thing to judge someone on, their colour preference.

Overtook a well chavved-up 318i this morning - de-badged, full bodykit, white lenses, blacked-out windows, M3 mirrors, etc........but the tell-tale single little exhaust. Who do these people think they are kidding? I don't think he was very chuffed, and seemed rather reluctant to get out of the way (hogging RH lane on empty dual carriageway).

    bub,
this is an interesting situation. what happens when one beemer driver tailgates another beemer driver? do you get a kind of irresistable force / imovable object thing happening or does the geezer behind just get so wound up that he either a) has an embolism and dies or b) rams the other chav off the road?
    cheers

Hard for me to explain really - its a feeling that defies articulation. My neighbour said the same thing, I just cant look him in the eye anymore.

Classic. At least an M3 does exactly what it says on the tin. I get some amusement driving our Espace. Buslike in many ways but 0-60 in 9 secs and embarasses many a rep-mobile, furthermore if we were to go head-to-head the 5 star NCP rating means I live, he dies. :)

:D :D there must be some kind of quantum level event, especially if the model and colour matched. My mind is spinning just trying to calculate the logical conclusion.

I bet you've had many big black things in your time Antonio.

It's a shame none of them were ATC SCM100's
