i'm quite excited, but i bet that's going to increase.

having looked around for rem tickets on the internet, i discovered they are playing the point theatre in dublin end of february.

    so i just booked 2 tickets !

and 1p flights with ryan air to get there (ok 99p there, and 2.99 back again)

so €131.90 for the tickets, and £60 for the flights, that's £140.

can anyone recommend a good hotel ?

    Enjoy it :) .
I seen them in Belgium a few years back at a festival and they were awesome.
The whole w/e was about 30degrees but when they came on as the headline act, on the last night, a huge thunderstorm settled above the stage for their whole set. Certainly the most impressive pyrotechnics I've seen at a concert  .

Got mine booked for Hull already - unbelievable - best we've had so far is Elton John and Bryan Adams at the new stadium - but this is a real coup.

That does look like a good deal on a hotel, especially if it's right in the centre of Dublin.

I tried to get tickets for the Hammersmith Odeon show but no joy... they sold out really quick, demand must've been intense as it crashed the TM site for a couple of minutes.

Going to hopefully go and them in Cardiff, Manchester or London next year. The cricket ground in MCR is a great place for a concert, can get a touch congested for the metro on the way out though.

Saw them at the cricket ground at last years Move festival - brilliant everyone around us was singing along at the tops of their voices, great atmosphere - wouldn't miss them for anything (even the queuing!)

Saw them in 1995 (Cardiff Arms Park, Monster tour) and Glastonbury last year. They're superb live!

That said, I'm not sure I can be arsed to attempt to get tickets on the "black market" (Epay anyone???? :JOEL: ) to see them a third time. Never say never though :)

No need to buy the tickets on the black market... at the moment. However, seems to be the case with most stadium shows that touts will end up taking a major hit on the face value of ticket prices... a friend of mine scored a £150 ticket to see the Stones at Twickenham for £30 courtesy of a professional eBay ticket seller... it's a good way of seeing shows cheaply.

Not really 99p flights then are they! They always sting you for taxes

plus fly one day either side, and it was no longer 99p, the flights became £39.99 each. so instead of £8 + taxes (which is what i paid), it was £160 plus taxes.
