    AML1+django pre+behringer dac

Had the pleasure of listening to Tenson's system yesterday.

I'm no expert, having limited expsure to good hi-fi but here are some thoughts......

It is a very revealing system. Certainly the AMLs are powerful for their size and also have the slam factor. Hpwever they are controlled and bass is tight. The speakers are the most striking element of the set-up (close call with DAC). The Behringer puts out an awesome amount of detail and this is presented by the AMLs without being bright or harsh. I certainly heard stuff on some of CDs I havn't heard before.

Set-up would suit all kinds of music (and we listened to a vast spectrum of styles) but I feel it is especially suited to rock and fusion styles.

Kenan, I'd say that’s a very fair write up. May I suggest you do a similar short analysis of each system you demo in your search? It would be really interesting and I'd have thought, might help you decide on a final purchase.

The disc's you bought were also brilliant. LosLonley Boys and Lhasa are something special ;) Bare Foot is good but some tracks are better than others.
