More problems, I am now being accused of being a shill or employing another name as a shill by Tony L at PFM. He says he knows this as he is a moderator here. Well I am afraid he is wrong as Saltleyseagulls is a nva owning Tai-Chi student of mine who uses Supanet as his ISP the same as me because I recommended it to him years ago.

He knew nothing of this argument and wasn't prompted by me to post.

I just looked up the IP he quoted and this is the result.

Richard, remember I'm an IT guy! I know it's the same *physical PC*! I can prove it in a court of law too if you wish too go that far.

Just stop digging the hole and grow the f*** up.

    Tony.

Ah so now it is open again.

I have no plans to reveal exactly what or how I know as this knowledge is key to my being able to protect my site from vindictive internet warriors and other time-wasters. I will say that I have you banged to rights on two separate things, i.e. I am not basing this on a single fact. I will also point out that I have done nothing illegal to obtain this information, certainly no hacking or anything like that.

    Tony.

PS If this was another person he posted from your PC within minutes of your posting here. That is too much of a coincidence for me to buy, especially given your first post denial.

PPS I temporarily locked the thread as your washing your dirty laundry here is against the AUP. I reconsidered as whilst I do not wish this thread to be here, it is perhaps not right that I should close / delete it. I have not moderated you here yet due to your personal issues with me.

Richard i suggest you look up something called 'MAC address'. Every PC has one, it is unique to the network card on each PC and no two are the same.

It is possible to 'spoof' a MAC address, but to do that you would need to know the MAC address of the PC that you wanted to pretend to be- ie you would need to have access to that PC at some point copy the number down and then install software on the 2nd PC that falsely broadcast that same MAC. Or you could get it if you were the host of a network that the computer was attached to.

Ahah you say, then that's what has happened to me. Well maybe it is, but they would need to be plugged into your network at your house to spoof the MAC while broadcasting from the same IP address as well.

Unlikely, unless you are sat next to them, or you and them both used an external site at roughly the same time and they did so with the sole purpose of wanting to pretend to be you.

It's not beyond the bounds that this could have happened at one of your events if someone was helping you with your computer, maybe running it as a music server.

However it is almost impossibly unlikely to have happened if the MAC matches yours and the IP address is your home address, then they would need to be sat next to you, or sat outside your house stealing your WiFi connection.

So either you've been done by someone who has gone to quite substantial lengths to **** with you, or someone is telling porkies- i know not which..

Same IP address, so chances are you are either Richard or someone else posting from his home network. In this case I have no evidence that it is the same physical PC, though I do over at pfm.

    Tony.

PS this will be my last comment on this matter as I am very aware I am breaking ZG's AUP with every post I make.

same IP means either on his home network, or wherever he was at the time of the post. Or IP spoofing, which strikes me as an awful lot of trouble to embarrass Richard.

Especially given his propensity for doing that all by himself.

Once again you call me a liar I DID NOT READ IT! The PM was prompted by a very short phone conversation with Tony L before he put the phone down on me.

So you break your AUP so who moderates you?

Don't you want me to read it then, you could always publish it here publically.

Again I did not read it, I was surmised it in a few loud words by Tony L before the phone went down. Funny he knew all about it ;)

I tell you what you get it to me or publish it here and I will let you off and get out of your hair, as this is your forum and the daftness must be pissing off a lot of members, and I will only post to things that directly effect or refer to me, hows that for a deal.
