    apparently the great man's only UK top ten hit was 'living in america' following the rocky movie.

    He was the godfather of soul, but unfortunately maybe we weren't a nation of it.

    Saw him at the Live 8 concert here in Edinburgh last year. Amazing performance (at an amazing concert) - he was still jumping about on stage, belting out those amazing songs in his freakin' 70s! The world will never see anything like him again.
