    Hi

Am wondering whether you guys can help want to start getting into vinyl and don't want to spend mega bucks to start around £300 and prefer to get an older player of good quality than a lesser cheaper modern model.

I'm gonnna use it with Sonus Faber Signums, Linn Kairn and a Conrad Johnson MV60SE.

    Been eyeing up:

    Roksan Radius (battleship grey one)
    Michell Syncro (see thru one)
Pink Triangle PT 1 (oddly named one)

Probably mostly like to get some sort of rega 250 300 with it and will treat it to a new catridge. Am after a good overall sound that can span the genres but above all musical and not super clinical bright and anal..

People's opinions as to what would be best and their experiences. Please help ?

    Thanks

    Edward

    Hi Idekton,

Out of those 3 decks, the one with the most potential is the Pink Triangle PT1. This was a deck which stood out at the time. It had a number of different ideas compared to the competition at the time. It has a DC motor which was usual for belt drive decks.

It was a high performance deck that was in competition with the Linn LP12. If in good condition, it can offer very detail, resolution and clarity to the music.

The other decks were scaled down versions of higher performers.

Pink Triangle don't exsist any more but you can still get in touch with the designer as he runs another turntable company called the Funk Firm.
