i have managed to procure a brand new rotel rc971. An outstanding value pre amplifier which doesn't lack handy features such as: Record output selector Two tape loops Headphone socket Two sets of pre outputs for multiple connection options And of course, the usual Rotel build quality which includes an all metal case and fascia, making this amp robust as well as feature laden i have currently got it hooked up to my cyrus amps to give it a once over. everything is fine and dandy with it and the sound is very reasonable indeed (considering i have just switched it on). don't discount this amps merits as a standalone headphone amp. it has defeatable tone controls and LR balance. drop me a pm with a decent offer ta
