Just wondering what the total RRP value of systems on here are, including accessories such as racks, cables, headphones etc.

I've worked out that mine would cost £1,360 for everything at full retail value, but I didnt pay anywhere like as much for it.

    What about everyone else?

May have needed a finer scale than £10000 or more.

    Cheers

    Paul,

AS Jason suggests, maybe a 10-15£K and £15K-£20K, then £20K+, also do it include a/v or just 2 channel?
Then do one for cars ;)

Any idea how much the B&W Matrix 803 S2, HTM & 805 retailed for in the late 90s?

With the 2nd hand Flatcap, 72/180, and the new Stand Org speaker stands (the ones that came with the Epos' aren't up to much in the context of the current room IMHO) I reckon my main music system's just over £5k, since there's also a Nakamichi 3 head tape deck in there now (think that retailed for approx £500 when it came out). Eeeek!

Much of my kit is full price, but I got a steal on the Nak and the Technics DAB tuner :) And a total daylight theft on the Epos' ES14s - £150 inc stands and boxes!!!!

er, £199 for the full shebang.

    That's for the main rig.

    I paid a whopping £140.

I can get that figure up to about £600 retail if i include bedroom 1, 2 & 3, garage and lounge systems.

The RRP of my system would depend on what value you put on a pair of 20+ year old speakers - I haven't yet heard anything I'd replace them with (apart from JBL Everest and the like :D Modern speakers are so poncey)

When the new MD arrives it will be about £2080 rrp (I probably paid less than 1/3) for hifi and then another £650 for AV (again paid much less)

Weren't the S500 and S300 originally £1100 and £1900 respectively, with a lovely powder metal finish? Then they were reduced to £1000 and £1500.

So with £900 for the Quads and £350 for the tuner, that'll be £3750 - or about £3800 if you include cables. ;)
