I have a Sony CrapNav and it never works with postcodes. It also has a fixation with a section of Leamington Spa, that despite asking it to recalculate the route kept taking me back to a junction on a closed main road. It also overshot Manchester completely and took me back down to it via Glossop, after taking me on a RAC rally through small villages that looked like something from Lord of the Rings, where about every 100 yards were speed cameras and tractors towing trailers of hay, oh, then came the rain. I hadn't a clue as to where the hell I was. I hate it and I suspect it knows!

Seems mixed reults and a bit of luck required.

I've ordered the Garmin unit. I'd made an order with dabs.com nearly a month ago. One of the items was out of stock but listed as due in less than 2 weeks. I hadn't realised but they wouldn't part ship the order. Fine, 2 weeks isn't that bad and they don't take the money till it ships. Then it got put back a further week..... then a further week. Should have been today but suprise.... a further 3-4 weeks and still not guaranteed!
So I had to cancel that part of the order anyhow so replaced it with the garmin.

I've used dabs before a few times and always had good service (despite all contact being web based only), but this has turned into a bit of a joke.

Hopefully it, along with the rest of the order should arrive soon.
