I've got a DVD with just over 4 min's of footage on it.

Any suggestions on how I can save it and then upload it to a Myspace site?

    Cheers.

    Ta

Just set up you tube account. If I explore the DVD there's two folders VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. I'll assume the 150MB (VTS_01_1 - VOB FILE) file in the VIDEO_TS folder is what I need? Do I need to convert this into another format?

You tube only accepts 100MB max, so I'll need to resize it somehow too.

    Ta.

I would imagine youtube does the conversion for you, you probably want it get it into MPEG or similar. There must be a million convertors for PC, I can think of 4 or 5 for mac off the top of my head.

Rob, the yahoo question link no longer seems to work. I tried downloading the aimersoft program but it for some reason doesn't seem to open for me.

I've tried several other free and trial versions of programs, but the best I've got so far is one that converts only 1/3 or the content in the trial version!

So, any specific FREE VOB - MPEG (or other suitable format?) convertors?

    Cheers.

I've tried reinstalling the aimersoft(DVD to Flash) program again, but still no joy. Not sure why, but it doesn't seem to want to open.

    woo hoo!

Seems to have picked up some distortion in some stage of the process of conversion/uploading though, but will do for now.

    Cheers.
