Anyone have any experience with the NP30?

The SB touch seems well regarded here but I've always found CA digital products like the dacmagic perform well too so thought I would ask here?

    It does look nice :)

It almost seems a shame I don't need anything like the SB Touch or NP30 as my computer is so near my hi-fi!

If you have a computer you really don't need a Touch. Put Jriver on the computer and control it with your smart phone with Jriver Gizmo app. Then use your Dacmagic to connect to your amp. Saves perhaps a hundred pounds or more as well and have a free remote.

I have a Squeezebox Classic and a Boom. Would I do it that way now? No. A small format PC can be had for less.

    Isn't it crazy?

I currently use a macbook air into a dacmagic in my main system and it sounds as good as cd eve managed. It sounds like buying a 2nd dac magic for the 2nd room makes the most sense?
