Thanks Phil - it's a completely new system (bar speakers) since you last heard it.

    I am exhibiting too.

I have tried to re create a 20 year old "classic" system.

So, " THE VOYD" turntable, AUDIO INNOVATIONS 500 integrated valve amp and
SNELL K speakers ( which have just come back from a complete overhaul by Guy at Pure Sound.)
The arm is an SME V, with an AUDIO NOTE cartridge.

Come and check it out, in Room 73.

I'm going. Not demonstrating anything as my vintage amstrad is far too valuble and there is a five star cd stuck in the drawer. Besides, it only sound any good after 8 cans of special brew (most friday's then).
    See you all there.

    Did anyone from here go?

I went along with Rob and quite enjoyed the show. It was busier than some trade shows I've been to and unlike the trade shows I stayed until the end and still only managed to visit about half the rooms :(.

The systems that I really liked were JANDL100 (when the Tannoys were playing), SCIDB, Paul Ransom, Valvebloke, Papa Lazarou and Gromit's. Dean played the best music I'd say and we heard and felt :) some seriously crazy bass in Art of Sound's room, courtesy of Celestion Ditton 66. All in all, a very enjoyable day, meeting up and chatting with some familiar and some new faces.

    Superb day out.

The Ditton 66s were quite something.
Agree with Dev on what was really good, though actually i enjoyed most rooms.

    Loads of pics to upload.

The Dittons were good, Tannoys sounded nice as did the Quads , not sure I liked the added sub, an extremely enjoyable weekend .
    Well worth a visit .

Yes indeed, very well organised and genuinely fascinating - by far the most interesting show in the UK.

Really, did you think so? I wasn't so convinced.

    Hi,

A very good weekend. Good to meet many people old and new. It looks like there will be a few pieces about this event in Hifi World & Hifi Choice.

I loved it - some of the stuff was way too loud though.
The big Fabers were dreamy and the vocals on the Quad 57's put my new ones to shame! The Epos 22's were fun.
    Did spot Dev and Rob.
Apologoies to the Disks like new for covering theit stand in cheese.

Thanks to everyone who came to our stand to check us out on Sunday.

Your feedback was really appreciated, especially on the lift lock cases which we are hoping to stock within the next few months :)

I don't recall seeing any cheese, audiophile or otherwise on our stall, probably because I was too busy stuffing my face at the time :D
